Vanessa Sparke

 

Vanessa Sparke (RN, Grad Cert Crit Care Nursing, Grad Dip Ed &Training, MPH&TM, PhD Candidate) is an experienced clinician and educator. Vanessa has over 30 years of nursing experience including 16 years in IP&C in Australian metropolitan, rural, and educational settings, and in Pacific Island Countries. Vanessa is also a Registered Nurse in the Solomon Islands and is working with a rural Solomon Island hospital to help improve their IP&C practices, where she is currently completing her PhD.

Vanessa is the course coordinator and lecturer for James Cook University’s Graduate Certificate of Infection Control, and is a member of the Australasian College for Infection Prevention and Control (ACIPC) Education Committee.
